From the first idea to delivery

I can frame what makes sense, develop a viable solution and take responsibility for turning an idea into a result that actually works inside the organisation.

01 — Disciplines

Four disciplines that work together today

My work cannot be reduced to a single role. Business, leadership and entrepreneurship, technical systems and development, processes and automation and artificial intelligence shape how I assess and deliver initiatives.

02 — Path

Responsibility grew step by step

My professional path began in direct technical delivery. With each further station, new tasks and levels of responsibility were added.

  1. Building software

I began by developing applications, interfaces and technical business logic.

Along the way I learned how strongly a system’s quality depends on decisions made long before the actual programming.

  2. Shaping operational processes

With automation and solution engineering, processes, client requirements and collaboration with specialist teams moved more firmly into focus.

A technical task increasingly became responsibility for understanding an operational process and translating it into a working solution.

  3. Leading teams and a business unit

As a leader I was responsible for people, priorities and both the functional and technical direction.

It was no longer only my own work that had to function, but the interplay of people, projects, expectations and decisions.

  4. Building companies and products

With companies and products of my own, economic decisions entered the picture: invest, focus, develop further — or deliberately end an initiative despite work already done.

03 — Way of working

Understand first. Then develop. Deliver together.

Listen, observe and learn

Before I propose a solution, I want to understand how the work actually functions.

I listen to the people involved, observe workflows and learn which decisions, exceptions and informal moves truly matter day to day.

Develop possibilities

On that basis I develop ideas, target pictures and concrete solution approaches.

I connect the business perspective with technical possibilities and check which approach is sensible and deliverable under real conditions.

Work closely together

I do not take an idea away and develop it in isolation from the organisation. Decisions, interim results and open questions are worked through together so the solution fits functionally, is understood and can hold in day-to-day work.

Responsibility does not end with the concept

A good idea must withstand decisions, be delivered and prove itself in day-to-day work — that is where a way of working becomes a concrete result.

04 — Selected work

Where this way of working becomes concrete

The following examples show different starting points, levels of responsibility and forms of collaboration.

Strategic framing for AI adoption

Financial services · Mid-market

It was unclear which AI initiatives were economically and organisationally viable — and which should be deferred first.

I structured options, assessed value and prerequisites, and prepared a prioritised decision basis for management.

The organisation received a coherent direction with clear priorities, responsibilities and next steps.

Strategic framing · Prioritisation · Governance

Automating an approval process

Industry · Cross-functional initiative

A grown process with exceptions, roles and evidence requirements was slow, error-prone and hard to trace.

I captured the process, designed the solution and led technical delivery — including coordination with specialist teams and developers.

The new flow shortened turnaround times, improved auditability and was actually used in operation.

AI introduction for specialist teams

Specialist teams · ChatGPT / Copilot · guided introduction

People had access to approved AI tools, but not yet a shared, dependable way of working.

I designed training and introduction so roles, tasks and quality checks stayed tied to participants’ actual work.

Teams could handle suitable tasks more independently, and internal contacts could carry the working practice forward.

Training · Introduction · Enablement

05 — Contact

What do you want to move forward in your organisation?

Whether a strategic question, a new system, an AI introduction or enabling your people: what matters first is which result you want to achieve and what stands in the way today.

In an initial conversation we frame your situation and clarify where I can contribute most usefully through consulting, delivery or training.

You receive an initial framing — and a clear assessment of whether I am the right person for it.
